Writing about one topic for a year is an awesome idea. Writing just a little on any topic has often made me reverse positions on it, or it's taken me to places that only considered writing can take you. I hope it's rewarding for you!
A superb review post. Ironically, this gave me a symptom of depression in that I was stuck in bed reading my phone but I was having a whale of a time clicking through the Total Integration back catalogue. Here's to another 100 days—and thanks for the mention!
Thank you for the mention and congratulations on reaching 100 posts! I’ve enjoyed discovering your archive.
On all other platforms, especially Twitter, I have tended to share what I felt like (of which photography was a small part). There was no singular path and I enjoyed that. However, I’ve always wanted to have a photography only publication so I started using Substack to see how it could go. It seems to have resonated with some. But I think the most important thing is to write what you want to write. Whether that’s one thing, or many things, is up to you.
Thank you Andrew! Yes, undoubtedly there is some sacrifice and discipline to doing one thing, but I hope that it is more about channeling than forcing.

Yes, it is amazing how much more nuanced one's positions become after a little writing.
You are a beacon and inspiration. Congratulations!! Come visit NYC!!

The highest praise — wasting a day in bed reading my writing!
