Wow, I thought I knew a littlte about Halsman. Missed the trial/murder/accident completely! I will never look at Jumpology quite the same again. Always thought Richard Nixon was perhaps the best and the worst all at the same time. His jump is child-like and looks much too carefree! Thank you for this great post!

I don’t know if Einstein or Nabokov ever jumped - they aren’t in the book- but he does discuss the character of the those who refused.
