there is something wrong (or at least something that i don't understand) on substack: even now, after i read it, this post doesn't appear in my inbox. is it set to "private" or something?
I think if you uncheck the email option in substack it doesn’t appear anywhere else. But it is available. It is like publishing on a normal non-newsletter blog. I didn’t send out this one because it felt a bit off-brand.
Ah, thank you! Well, maybe I’ll send it out. That’s the good thing about not sending is that there is still the option to do so at a later date (when I spot all the typos)
I honestly think no one will go to live to mars, never mind what Musk have in mind. Perhaps some go to the moon to extract all the gold in it, but will return very soon with their dream glasses in their bags. Progress won’t stop though, whatever your notion of it could be
Yes, Bezos seems only interested in space fun and resource extraction. I would take Mars more seriously if there were any colonies on the bottom of the sea.
Progress was in Kubrick’s 2001 times what expected in the following years (Star wars etc) to be happening today. Many people believed progress was that but nothing like that ever happened, just a millionaire the other day opened the window for 2 minutes 24 km up from here… from that to live in mars there are, well nothing like Bradbury

sorry but you're wrong: there's nothing off-brand about it, it's good and interesting

Same for me
Sorry! See above.
