Wow! Excellent article about Hujar. I am very familiar with the photo on the cover of A Little Life since it’s one of my favorite books. It’s a heart wrenching, beautiful novel. Have you read it? - I feel silly that it never even dawned on me to look at the credit for the cover photo. I’m now going to go down the Hujar rabbit hole!

Well done. I have seen a lot of Hujar's work over the years. Never in any real show context, only singles, or twos here and there. Very interesting to see your photos from the exhibition. Very good interview. Thank you!

Would love to see this show. I could look at Hujar's work all day. His human portraits are stunning but it's his portraits of animals that I find most arresting. Great read. I love the photo of Gary at the end.
